 The Library of Congress, the nation's oldest federal cultural institution, is also the largest library in the world. The Library's mission is to make its resources available and useful to the Congress and the American people and to sustain and preserve a universal collection of knowledge and creativity for future generations.
The Library of Congress is pleased to partner in the Virginia Experiment. This partnership provides an opportunity to make the Library’s resources more readily accessible to a K-12 education audience. The Library looks forward to sharing its vast, online primary source content, as well as strategies for their use with participating educators in the Virginia Experiment Teaching American History Grant.
